It requires an open mind and one to be comfortable with characters being nude-one wonders if it is necessary at certain points. If you have enough at any stage you can return there at any time and have a drink. The costumes and the bar setting with the music and singer come across as warm, authentic and comfortable but still a bit weird. I wanted to go back in! Very modern and confronting in various ways. Then you experience what can only be described as some kind of shock at "returning" to normal life. The whole feel from the time you enter the door is spooky and that feeling doesn't leave you until you exit the hotel. ![]() Totally great and mind blowing concept, energetic performances and immersive experience. This type of art must not be my thing, but it was worth to at least try an experience like that once. All in all, that reminded me of the runaway fashion show by famous couturiers with models with nests on their heads and everyone screaming, clapping and praising what a daring and talented that show is. I felt almost sticky walking out of that building at the end of the show. So, in the end, I managed to catch few scenes that were not connected to each other, got all sweaty from running up and down the stairs trying to find anyone and felt like I just watched someone getting undressed. Since there were no dialogue, the unattractive sounds of people huffing and puffing when running from floor to floor or dancing were very obvious. And watching the actual scenes was oddly uncomfortable like being a peeping Tom peeking into neighbors window. Following actors running around reminded me a flock of sheep following a dog. Wondering around in empty rooms was mildly entertaining but was not really worth the price of the ticket. I could not see everything that is played out so there was no start of the end of the story, just random scenes that did not make any sense to me. ![]() For me, it was very bizarre and somewhat creepy experience. They are also allowed to leave at any time of the 3 hrs performance. The are free to go anywhere they please, touch anything they desire (besides actors obviously) and follow anyone they want. Spectators are given a mask to wear and are prohibited from any kind of interaction with actors or peers. The building is filled with actors that live their own lives and perform their own scenes simultaneously either through pantomime or interpretive dance and the whole thing is happening in silence (besides occasional background music). The play is set in 5 story building decorated in Macbeth's era. ![]() First of all, I was surprised that there were no seats to purchase as in traditional theater setting, which intrigued me. I would agree that this is new and somewhat interesting concept, but my personal experience was very conflicting.
